There is a tree that sits on the bank of the Willamette River in Eugene, Oregon. The adult Bald Eagles love to sit in this tree and watch as fish swim below. Last week I was lucky enough to watch the eagle leap from the tree and swoop towards the river. It grabbed a decent sized fish, which was taken to the nest nearby. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera with me. I returned today, however, I didn’t get to see the eagle fishing, but I did get to watch it as it was chased by what seemed like an unhappy crow.
